Following 10 years as CFO of the DFDS Group, Torben Carlsen was appointed President & CEO as of 1 May 2019.
Torben Carlsen was born on 1965 and holds an MSc. in Finance.
In addition to this he is chairing Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, its Investment Committee; Gro Capital Fund and its Investment Committee, and is member of various boards, including the board of Danish Shipping.
Previous to DFDS, he has gathered experience as partner of Odin Equity Partners; COO and CFO of e-gatematrix; Director & Partner of Polaris Private Equity; Vice President Corporate Finance of Gate Gourmet Group ; Director Strategic Control, Swissair Associated Companies ; Manager Treasury & Control, SAS Service Partner.
