Hans Biemans (MSc. MiF) has over 20 years of experience in sustainability in the financial industry and brings in a wealth of green financing structuring knowledge.
 

Hans’ experience includes membership of the executive committee of ICMA Green Bond Principles (GBPs) and the creation of the ICMA Social Bond Principles.
 

Hans is active member of the sustainable finance working groups of the European Banking Federation (EBF), that gives feedback on the EU sustainable finance taxonomy.
 

Hans is also member of the Committee of Experts of Milieukeur, the Dutch Ecolabelling body (also competent body for EU ecolabel).
 

Hans’ main aim when structuring Green Bonds is to help Green Bond issuers to keep things practical, manageable and sustainable, and to increase access to Socially Responsible Investors (SRI). Hans is well known amongst SRI investors and he closely follows the developments on their side to ensure that Green and Social Bond frameworks match their preferences as well.
